Getting there
- Safari Zone (Johto): Opens after you cure Jasmine's Ampharos at the Olivine Lighthouse: take the Secret Potion from the Cianwood pharmacy to the top of the Lighthouse. Back in Olivine City a phone call from the warden opens the Safari Zone. Until then the guard at Cliff Edge Gate, between Cianwood City and Route 47, says it is under construction.
- Bell Tower: Ho-Oh waits at the top of the Bell Tower in Ecruteak City. After you beat the Johto Champion, the sage in the tower gives you the Rainbow Wing and the top opens. Ho-Oh is level 70.
- Burned Tower: Raikou and Entei (level 40) start to roam Johto the first time you walk into the basement. Suicune (level 40) waits at the back of the basement once you have beaten the Johto Champion.
