Special encounters
- Stark Mountain: Poke Radar
Getting there
- Mt. Ember: Needs the Tri-Pass. Beat Blaine in the Cinnabar Island Gym; Bill then takes you to One Island, where Celio gives you the Tri-Pass. With it, the Seagallop at the Vermilion City pier (the man at the gate at its end) sails to One, Two and Three Island. The Ruby Path cave opens once Celio has asked you for the Ruby; the Ruby is on its lowest floor.
- Stark Mountain: Heatran: after the Sinnoh Champion and the National Pokedex, talk to Buck at his house in Survival Area, then go to the deepest room of Stark Mountain.
Evolves into
- Magcargo: Level 38
Levels are this area's own. In your first region they stay as shown; in a region you open later they are raised to match your progress, unless you started that region fresh. See levels.
