Dragon's Den

Dragon's Den, Johto (from Pokemon SoulSilver).

How to get here. Behind the Blackthorn City Gym. Beat Clair and take TM59 from her; the elder at the Den shrine then gives you a Dratini (level 15). Clair is across a lava lake and you cross it on the gym's stone platforms (in older versions they look like plain beige strips, newer ones show a rim, a blue button and two red arrows): step on a platform's middle cell to turn it a quarter turn, step on the cell to its left or right to ride it 5 cells that way. A turn or slide that would push the platform off the lava does nothing (you hear a bump). Chain the platforms from the entrance walkway to the ledge below Clair; the gym puts them back at their start each time you enter.
