#147 Dratini

#147 Dratini. Where to find it in Platinum Emerald and how it evolves.

Wild

Gift or one-time encounter

• Goldenrod City Area 14 (inside): Gift: Dratini, Lv 15
• Dragon's Den Area 2 (inside): Gift: Dratini, Lv 15

Getting there

• Dragon's Den: Behind the Blackthorn City Gym. Beat Clair and take TM59 from her; the elder at the Den shrine then gives you a Dratini (level 15). Clair is across a lava lake and you cross it on the gym's stone platforms (in older versions they look like plain beige strips, newer ones show a rim, a blue button and two red arrows): step on a platform's middle cell to turn it a quarter turn, step on the cell to its left or right to ride it 5 cells that way. A turn or slide that would push the platform off the lava does nothing (you hear a bump). Chain the platforms from the entrance walkway to the ledge below Clair; the gym puts them back at their start each time you enter.
• Celadon Game Corner prize: 2800 coins. Goldenrod Game Corner prize: 2100 coins (needs a Coin Case).

Evolves into

• Dragonair: Level 30

Levels are this area's own. In your first region they stay as shown; in a region you open later they are raised to match your progress, unless you started that region fresh. See levels.
